If he can't stick to the glass, it's possible that he is having trouble cleaning shed off his toes, which may mean you need to mist him more to keep the humidity up. As for the eating, yes, an environment change does seem to throw them off a little. Have you tried the T-Rex Sandfire crested gecko diet? Dust your crickets with it so that they get used to the flavor. That has everything they need nutrient-wise for good health. I usually leave my new ones alone for a week or so to minimize stress. Good luck.

I'd make sure the temp is in the right range, 78 is ideal but can be lower. I dont keep any of mine above 78 or 79.make sure during the day the cage isnt getting direct sunlight and warmign it to the mid 80's or beyond. Also humidity should be 60-80%. Make sure of plenty of places to hide. New enviornments are very stressfull so they dont wanna see anyones face right away.

I would relax and not wory about anything for atleast 4-5 days of quiet time in thier new home. After that I would try dabbing alittle babyfood or the T-Rex diet on his nose and let him lick it off. Try that 2-3 times then see if he'll take it himself off a spoon or butter knife.

Good Luck

what kind of substrate are you using? it is nothing abrasive is it?

also, if you are using anything that could possibly stick to their feet you may want to switch it out.

i agree to let him be for a few days to let him get used to it, dont offer too many insects as this will only stress him out more, keep a dish of fresh baby food available and maybe a couple of crickets and that will be fine.

My leachianus didnt eat for several days after he came in, and then he just started devouring everything, and still does =)

just give him time. make sure to mist him daily to keep humidity up which also helps with shedding, he may just have some shed left on his pads.
