My JCP will not eat rats and I am tired of feeding almost 20 mice every ten days so I was wondering what you guys thought about the nutritional value of a dove, or two?

I've heard f/t Chics are pretty good and accepted by most carpets. Don't know about Doves, but chics might be a more reliable food source because of the quanitiy available.

The problem is, I have recently moved home to deal with a sick parent and keeping frozen feed it out of the question. I fed chicks all summer long but they are no longer available now that it's getting colder. I do have access to fairly cheap Dove's but just wasn't sure about the nutritional value of that type of bird. Chicks are great because they often still have part of the yolk in them when their fed, raising their nv. Not sure about Dove's however. Thank you for your response though.
