I know that everyone does it differently but here is Buddy's cage. Plain and simple. His hide spot is under the skull and cactus. You can see his entry if you look close.
Hope this helps

How big is Buddy's tank? I'd like to get one that size for my saharan's. Also how did you do the hide box? Like what all did you have to do to make it?

Also where did u get that skull at, it looks really awesome.

Buddy's tank is a 75 gal which is 48 x 18. His hide box is 4 bricks (2 on each side lenght wise) then a square brick on top. This was done before the sand was put in to avoid him digging and the bricks falling on him. He loves his box. The skull was bought at Petsmart in the fish area. It is for the tank. It comes in 2 sizes. The one I have is the small on. Thank you for liking my set-up. Any more questions just ask.

I wanna get a nicer set up for my Saharan Uro's Iris and Orion. I'm hoping they'll breed next season, my brother really wants a uro or bearded but can't get one till he finds out where he's going to move to when he graduates college this december. So I figured that if they breed then I can give a baby to him as a house warming present or a birthday gift (he knows how to take care of them properly and he's going into advertising so he'll have a ton of money to buy them stuff).

I want a nice set up so I can take the 40 they are in and give it to my Bearded or Leopard gecko.....

So do you have washed playsand in there or silica sand? I'd put the saharan's back on sand but I've had good luck with the bird seed so I'll stick with that.

Ok so you basically have bricks to build the hide with, so are they thick bricks or wide less thick bricks?

What a good idea to give your brother a baby. Good luck I hope they breed and have beautiful babies. As for the sand it is washed play sand. He is full grown so I didn't worry about him eating it and getting impacted. The bricks on the sides are rectangle and thick and the top is a square. When put together it fits nicely. I thought I should not over do the tank. I think less is more. He has room to run around(which he does) and still has his basking spot and hide spot.

That's a nice pic of Buddy. So is that a dog dish in the back? I was thinking of doing something like that with mine but they are not as intelligent to go get it from a dish so they eat off of paper plates.

Yeah I'm going to give a baby to my brother Justin, a baby to my brother Cody and a baby for each of my parents. I also plan on keeping 2 babies. So all together I would just like them to have 6 babies that are healthy. If more then that's fine but I'd just like 2 babies for myself 2 for my parents and 1 for each brother.

By then I'm hoping to have about $5,000 saved up so that means I need to get me a job and start saving. However Doug told me that they might not be big enough by then if not then in 2 years and if they are big enough in 2 years then I'll have about $10,000 saved up, hopefully.

I'm also hoping to have moved into a bigger house with my parents and have both brothers move out so more room for the animals. That way everybody will have enough room, a bedroom for me, and bedroom for the animals, a bedroom for my parents and a guest bedroom for the boys.

Yes, that is a small dog dish. I use to feed on a paper plate and boy did he make a mess. I tried the dish and he does well with it. I use one side for his everyday green, vegis and fruit. The other side gets treats like beans once a week (he loves that) and then about 2x a week I put a small amount of water so he can drink. He does drink so I keep doing it. Good luck with the future babies.

Thanks.

I have water in with my leo gecko cause thats about the only one who'll drink from a dish.

The saharan's don't becasue I don't want Iris (cause she's so small) to go over to get a drink of water and get water in her nose and get a resp. infect.

The mali's just lap up the water from their salad plate so....

and Hades, well I had water in with him, then he decided to be "cute" and tip the whole bowl over. He might have thought it was funny, I do not.
