The only way to find out a locality is by talking to the breeder and seeing if he has any locality data or if he collected the parents himself. The color change in Easterns is a common thing. Ive seen them start off super white then get a dingy gray and Ive seen butt ugly dingy babies turn into spectacular beauties. Other scenarios are they look great as hatchlings and continue to do so or Ive seen them look great as hatchlings get dingy then end looking like nice adults. The key to anything with snakes is to look at the parents. Now awesome parents doesnt automatically mean you get sure fire screamin' babies but your odds are considerably greater. The same can be said for the other way around 2 average to dingy parents can produce stunning animals that stay that way into adulthood but that percentage would be considerably fewer. Its my opinion that more Easterns than not get dingy. Easterns unlike Cal Kings or Brooksi dont have the years of selective breeding for color and pattern like those animals have. Where did you get your Eastern ?
i got him from Cherryville Farms.
Is the changing of color a good thing. I think the color change looks nice.
