of a beardie that wants to breed. I have a male in a 75 gallon tank. He has a perch that goes about halfway up the tank and then a hammock even with that. I was cleaning the other day and he was head bobbing and had his black beard going. Neither of my females will get near him because he is VERY agressive with them and his cage is located in a different room but he can see the two females in the other room. Anyway I was cleaning the other day and walked past his cage. Lo and behold he was sitting ON TOP of his UVA/UVB light strip. I still want to know how the little stinker managed to do that. No I usually do not put the top on the cage because it is such a long distance from his hammock and we never had a problem. You can guarantee the top is on now and I feel really lucky that he didn't get near his ceramic heater and burn himself. Just some things you never think of.

My little man Dirk Diggler got out of his tank yesterday morning. I came downstairs to find him fast asleep in the middle of the downstairs hallway, spread eagle on the cool tiled floor.

What a little bugger.

I now have to keep a 1 pound rock ontop of his screened tank!
