Lucky you... I love Brookesia but they are so hard to get your hands on. K temps, Mine seem to enjoy 75-78 and for brumation around 70 maybe a bit less. Feeding 2 week old crix gutloaded and cal w/ vit d3 dusted. Burmation lasted for me no longer than 1 month (believe it was a bit less). From the pic you look like you have a healthy 1.3. Males have very noticable bulges under their tails. I spray once every 3 days (as too much humidity can kill these little gems.) Alot of ventilation is also key (I use 1/2 glass and 1/2 screen lids. Right after burmation the male chases the female around. After about 4-6 months shell lay her eggs( I have never actually bred these but have possible eggs). I listed all the other info below(on a previous), if you have anymore ques dont hesitate as it would be a shame to let these die. (BTW: where did you get these, I havent seen any for sale in awhile and am looking for more
) GL and Enjoy them.
I got them a little over a year ago in Chicago,They were babies then
They were sold to me as a possible two pair, which sometimes i agree with sometimes i dont...lol
I keep then in a fifteen gallon tank with 2 inches of vermiculite covered with dried moss, on top of that i have some live moss and a few live pothos plants and a cave made of pea-gravel, oh and also leaves, and a screen top
I have two shallow 4 inch o.d. deli cups one for feeding,The other is for water about 3/8 to 1/2 inch deep, which they like to soak in.
I keep them at room tempature always except when brumiating,And 1/3 of the enclosure gets sun from the west,And i have a 5.0 florescent light 12 hours a day
I also spray the entire enclosure three to five times a week
more if i think they need it
And when i induce brumiation i dont feed for a day or two
I was also wondering your thoughts and methods on brumiation?
I hope i haven't left anything out?
Hey, well I mainly just lower the temps(slowly) and wait for them to go amongst the leaf litter, then I start the burmation... huh you use a water dish? never tried this might give it a whirl and see how it works
Just be careful not to drown them
and make sure to keep the dish clean which can be a pain...

Its believed that Brookesia are capable of absorbing a good amount of water through their skin. When i used to have perarmata, you could almost see how well their skin absorbed the water. Just make sure its shallow and easy for them to get out.
