Chico ate some parazap (finally)

CollardGuy Oct 01, 2004 01:35 PM

I left him a couple of days and he got hungry enough to open his mouth and eat a cricket coated with Parazap. I was beginning to thing his mouth was glued shut.

Hello Scott,

Did you first boiled the parasap??
Parasap is ment to be a cure for 5 days.
But if you use it like that, then you must boiled it.

He's looking good...

How do I dust crickets with it? I made tea to start with but he doesn't bite, (I know. A defective Collared Lizard! ) and he doesn't want to open his mouth for the tea. I tried to open his mouth manually, but I don't like to do that cause I'm afraid I'll hurt him.

Hello Scott,

Most of the time we are to affraid to hurd them.
A good way to try, is to tightspot his nostril with too fingers.
Mostly they open theyr mouth.
Don't give him a few days before no water.
0.5 ml of thea is enough.
If its realy not working, oke then its better to dust the crickets. Parasap wil stick better when you make the crickets a litlle wet.

Good Luck.
Greetings Peter
