Panacur

newagewanda Jun 27, 2003 12:34 PM

I have a w/c female flapneck that I've had for over a month and she recently started to become lethargic. I'm sure she probably has parasites and was wondering if anyone has a chart to figure out the ratio for giving Panacur. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dwayne

before giving any kind of meds or dewormers. If you give a dewormer and there is another problem instead, like some kind of organ failure the dewormer can be harsh on their system and cause more problems than it helped.
I worked out a deal with my vet where they will run fecals for me without charging an office visit. I just bring the samples and drop them off. They later call me if any are abnormal and I can bring the animal in for treatment at that time.
You may find a vet that may be willing to do that for you.
