i wanted to know if it was save to use the new ZOO MED repti heat cable for a breeding rack. i was goin to hook it up to a thermostat. here is a web page to see the product.

the instructions say that there good for breeding racks, and there is nothing that sais they will melt the plastic.

I would say if its hooked up to a thermostat you should be fine. I would never use it without one thou, if its anything like big apples flexi heat cable, that stuff gets MEGA hot.

I place cloth between pad and cage and experiment with this zoo meds.
