I was given an adult (2000g) female BP last month. (I think the guy had to go back to prison and they wouldn't let him take her). When he brought her to me she was in a pillowcase that reeked of cigarette smoke. She is a great pet and just shed for me. It was in about 200 pieces. All of the shed was tinted a tobacco color. I have only experienced hatchlings before. Does a normal bp have an orange/yellow shed? Or could it just be the environment she was in? The poor thing was thrown 10 mice and what ever she ate was good enough for the month. I have her on rats now and she smiles after each one. What a lucky girl she is!! Thank you in advance for any suggestions. I still have her in quarantine. Should I have her checked for any other possible damage? Fecal came back good.
