hungry critter!

tkatchev69 Oct 01, 2004 06:39 PM

Well, I have two dragons, one being slightly bigger and older than the other. I bought two live pinky mice today, because they won't touch the frozen ones. Imagine my surprise when the bigger one ate both pinkies!! And then he ate some more crickets I tossed in the tank. Crazy! How many pinky mice do they normally eat?

Well, it depends on how big your dragons are.
Mine will eat about 10 pinkies I think because pinkies have the same size as a big cricket.
But I'm talking about a 73 cm (28.7 inch)male dragon. Normally I feed them fuzzies now and they will eat two of them.
So just compare them with crickets and you'll know how much they can handle

Well, these mice were alot bigger than any cricket I've ever seen. They were crawling around and stuff, just their eyes weren't open yet. Is that a fuzzy? I'd say each one was about 2 to 2.5 inches long. My guy is probably only 16-18 inches long himself. Thanks!

Haha, than your dragon can eat a lot because that's not a pinkie you are talking about. Indeed that must be a fuzzie.
