can the rainmaker jr. be used outside and can it cover 2 cages at once without purchasing anything extra. Is it worth the money or should I get mr. moisture.

I don't see why not (using it outside, but you'd have to check with them to get the right timer/hose fitting unless you are running the pump off their reservoir). Yes, it can very easily spray 2 cages. The key is how far apart the cages are and how many nozzles you plan to have per cage. The Jr. pump can supply great pressure for at least 30 foot distance.
