How often Should Shedding Occur???

Palex134 Oct 01, 2004 10:03 PM

My male SHCT has been shedding a lot since i purchased him in august along with a trepmer Albino Female. They both live in a 20 gallon with plenty of hides and hot temp at low mid90s and cool at 80s with mosit hid in cool end. They get fed crickets and mealies dusted frequently> the male has been witnessed sheding 3 times since august 21st. Is this normall. If he isnt shedding he looks to be going through a color change then.Almost ghostly looking. And the next day hes normal agan. Thanks

Well it depends on how much they eat. He seems normal. Babies shed about every 3 to 4 weeks. As they get older they shed less. (about every month or month and a half)Hope this helps!
Oh yea, they also go through color changes. It depends on how they feel. Warm, cold etc.
