so i still have this one little egg left and i try not to think about him/her too much because it will make me nuts. i usually check on it once a day and make sure the shell is firm. the other day it was starting to get soft so i added more water to the incubator and vermiculite and today he was firm again 
i hope that is a good sign and now i can decide when to put more water in before it gets too dry again. either way this is the longest that i have had an egg so i am happy about that. today is day 16 since i dug them up. gee, that is like 44 more days to go, right?
