Can anyone tell me the proper way to treat adult Rhyno Rats in order to obtain fertile eggs.
My pair is now 3 years old. I saw them breed at 18 months with no eggs deposited. Last winter I offered them a short brumation of several weeks because I don't know what to do.
This summer I found 3 shelled eggs which were all infertile. I suspect, but I don't know, that a longer or cooler brumation is required. But the snakes are from Vietnam, parts of which a tropical and warm all year long. So I am afraid to over cool them.
Please, somebody, educate me.
