Marcel Poots Oct 02, 2004 12:42 PM

You mean harder to sell than spotteds? In Europe true Childrni's are rare where maculosa are quite common.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

Wow! May I ask who bred that? He has retained an unusual amount of his pattern. Most Childrens I know almost look patternless at that size. Very nice.

Thanks,
I don't know who the breeder was. My pair was gotten from a friend of a friend as 4yr olds. They had a clutch of 15 this year! A couple of the babies are more honey colored, subtley than the others. I like that they, the parents, are both small (2.5ft) and have that pattern without being the darker sort like Spotteds. I'll have to try to get more picts of them all, parents and clutch. I also have a baby from last years clutch. (shipped gravid) She seems like her parents for pattern. Though I see them all the time and it is hard to compare.

I was going to say they could have spotted or stimpson's in them but their small size doesn't seem to support that. Most of the large children's I see that are colored like that are typically hybrids. I think you might have pure ones that just have unusually good contrast. Again, very nice.
