bubbles in eye?

xruthlessx76 Oct 02, 2004 01:01 PM

after i fed my tegu a couple mice yesterday i saw his eyes watering up, i figured he just got some of his substrate in them and it was getting cleaned out. but then he looked in a different direction and it looked like a few bubbles popped up in the front of his eye for a couple seconds, what could this be? he also bit me a couple hours later when i took him out, and he's never even tried to bite me in the year i've had him.
thanks

My tegu does the same thing when he drinks water. Im not sure what it means but he's always done it and it doesnt seem to affect him at all, plus he's healthy so its not a URI.
