Well Its been a very long sleepless night here at my home!Alot of the people who know me an have been good freinds too me know that my wife/fiancee has been really sick!Well last night she got admitted into the hospital!She is in very bad shape!I have a very small collection of 11 boa's,mostley very nice normals but a few really nice het albino's an one possible het for anery,but I love them an threw me,me an my wife have leasrnt how to care for these beauties threw the help of this forum from people we dont know an people we do!An we thank them!I raise my own rats to feed my boas prekilled an well the more boas I got an the bigger they have gotten over the past 14 months or so the more rats I had to raise for food!Well come to find out this morning shes allergic to them an the pine bedding they live on!So I came home today an talked to a few people an started knocking rats in the head!An Freezing them!Shes going to flip when she opens up our freezer!!!!!!!Ill be in the dog house!Its been a very long an tiring day with her being sick an me killing rats that I have had for over a year an have produced me a whole lot of babies!An even though alot of them looked at me as the big bad grim reaper,Their was the ones that always looked up at me for some attention each time I opened the tank lid!So its been really hard!I am going to try an do the switch to frozen thawed but if I cant afford them the biggest part of my boa collection will be up for sale!Thanks to all for reading an please keep my wife in your prayers an just Thanks The most for being FREINDS!ERIC[HYPOBOA]

This is easy:
1-Aspen or newspaper is perfectly fine for boas. Newspaper is probably cheapest
2-Frozen/Thawed is so much easier it's silly. I've been feeding 100% f/t rodents for so long I can't remember the last time an adult got a live meal (1989?). I think that's really the last time I fed a live meal to an adult snake.
Between f/t rodents and aspen or newspaper, your problems should be solved. Well... at least the snake problems.
