Does anyone know where I can locate Tiger Salamanders? I live in Longmont, Colorado.

The only thing I have been able to find are bull frogs. Any ideas?

Hi,

I am not sure if you still want a reply, or if you have gotten one already, but I live in Broomfield! There are plenty of places with newts. Not enough I think sometimes though. Thats funny, because I can't find bullfrogs. Anyways, you can get tiger slamanders at Scales N' Tails on 104th & Ura in Northglen. And right next to that "shopping center" there is another reptile store called "No Frills" They are both two really good stores. You really should e_mail me, that would be cool.

If you can wait until next spring, I have found them in my driveway and galloping across my lawn right after a rainstorm, following several very dry, hot days. There's a nature preserve/swamp right behind my house though. Let me know if you are still looking next year, and I can catch one for you. I already have a pet one that somebody put in my mailbox in August 2003.

I live in Lafayette!
