Parazap confusion...

shopunke Oct 02, 2004 02:57 PM

I don't understand how to use parazap. I've read the website... It says it's a tea? But I read on here that someone put it on their lizard's crix... I'm pretty sure my mother is going to let me order the stuff. But I've found it on several websites... any suggestions? One site has more info but a higher price, the other site just states the indications and ingrediants, but at a lower cost.

I'm so excited about this stuff. If someone could help me figure it out, I'll more than likely order it and my little lizards should be feeling better!

Oh! I meant to ask- about how much should Novia and Tobias weigh? I'll post of pic of what they currently look like... But, *NOTE* that I am NOT neglecting them. They're well fed and watered. So please don't judge my care by their appearence.
This was the best picture I could get, as my camera was seconds from dying. Blah.

The bones of their hips and tail stick out pretty bad.

we all know that you love your lizards because you are trying to do something about their condition. they are really really skinny. besides the parasites eating away their nutrients, it also makes the lizards less hungry so the parasites are working against them doubly. do you ever feed them wax worms. they are supposedly higher in fat
i know there is an official parazap website because i was reading it the other day. several posts down the page should be the link. i am sure the name parazap is copyrighted so i can't imagine a knock off using the same name, in regards to the less inexpensive product. sometimes companies will buy in bulk which decreases the price and then lets them sell it over the internet at a cheaper price then the actual official people. gotta love profits, supply and demand.
i will let other comment about using it, as i am confused on the directions also.

Your lizards really need to start their medicine very soon, so I hope you Mom will let you order some NOW! The use of Parazap has been recently brought up here in the forum, and if you scroll down just a little, you will find answers on how to use it. Good luck! I hope you can start getting some weight on them.

Okay... that is the site that I have read several times. I know I will be able to get Tobias to bite the dropper but not sure about Novia...

Okay. I'm off to see if I can order it. Wish me luck, guys.

You can dust your crickets also, but some will not eat it on the crickets. I have not found that to be a problem.

Since all my guys drink from a shallow saucer, I put the desired amount in hot water, let it cool and put it right in their drinking dish. They dont seem to mind the taste.

You will see when you get it, it is a strong herbal kind of smell, but with a sweetness also. A mossy green kind of powder. It even increases their appetite.

Lot of luck with your pair. Hope they put some weight on quick for you! They are a pretty pair, just need some beefing up, it will happen.

lol! I didn't know if I was ever going to figure out how to use it! My lizards are finicky drinkers... they have to see it dripping or else they wont drink, so they'll probably go for it on the crix.

I can't wait!

I've worried myself sick many times over Chico, he has never eaten good since I caugh him, while his girl has eaten like the voratious eating machine they are supposed to be. But Chico has always picked off a bite to eat every once in a while, I guess when he gets hungry enough. Collared lizards are tougher than they look. (Not that they don't look tough.) Good luck with Novia and Tobia!
