Why does my dragon do this??

why does she sit inder her basking light with her mouth partially open? is it because she is too hot? She did it when I had her out in the sun today too.

he open muoth to regulate his temp.
also crocks do it .
when they open muoth the release the heat.
if they close it down and puffed themzelf up like a zeppelin then he is trying to get more heat !

That is called gaping. They do this to dissipate (??) heat. It is perfectly natural. Just make sure she has a cool area of the enclosure (about 80-85 deg F) to go to if she gets too hot.
