Panther Chameleon Breeding ???

weaf Oct 02, 2004 06:52 PM

How many often does the average female Nosey be Panther Chameleon lay eggs per year? And when or how far apart are the clutches? I am breeding a pair of Nosey be's and although I do not want to over breed the female, I also would like to avoid infertile clutches.

Thank you for any and all information as I have yet to find this info in any book or on any website.

3-4 times a year but 1-2 should be good for her to be bred. the time they are apart depends on the animal and how long it took them to fully recover from the last breeding

A healthy number woudl be 3 clutches. But sometiems you can't prevent them from laying more due to stored sperm. I've had females that lay in 2 months after layin ga clutch.
