my set up is so bad.....so bad that my female layed an egg on top of the substraight..but not bad enough for the pair not to breed..so anyway heres a picture...i hope she's all-right after all this as i plan to build a new reptile building soon...billy

If it's any help, my female macraei, on both ovipositions, laid an egg in the water the night before she ended up laying the rest... My nesting sucks; definately something i've gotta work out, but if I'm getting eggs right now, I'll take it- no complaints here..hahaha.. Thats a real rarity, getting eggs from crocs, allowing them to breed, etc.

I would be careful about shaking things up too much. Perhaps working a little with the nesting, but a new building is a tad extreme when you have a pair that is working pretty well.
