>>I came home from work and took a nap because I was beat and hurt my back (I think). Anyway I fell asleep until 8:30 or so and I didn't get to feed my gecko at his usual time of 7:00-7:30. He was waiting outside his hide box and looked up at me when I walked over towards his cage, and then I felt bad. Anyway what I am getting at is are set feeding times better for them? I'm assuming they aren't, because 3 crickets, 2 mealworms, and a waxworm don't all walk by the gecko at the same time every day in nature.

awww, that's cute - i know what that feels like! you can set a schedule if you want, but it's not necessary. as long as you feed him or her at night when leos are more active, you should be fine. my school/work/social schedule differs everyday and i usually fed my leo around 8-9pm - but if i came home later, my brother turned off her light for me and once i got home i fed her... which can be around 10 or 11 sometimes. my leo didn't mind, she'd still find her food and go chomping away at it like it was nothing
the times i did feel bad was when she wanted to be handled! my leo would walk up to the glass and press her whole body against it and just stand there til i picked her up. she would do that when i haven't taken her out for 24 hours ... and right when i would place my fingers against the glass around her shoulders, she wouldn't even wait for me 2 pick her up! she'd just start trying to climb me and slashing her bottom feet up and down trying to get a grip on fingers that aren't there... lol - and then she'd run up my arm and just sit on my shoulder
i was always like AWWWW SORRY
hehe~
