Sumatran Blood Python Having Trouble Shedding! ~Please Help~

my blood pytohn is about 1 1/2ft long. he is having a hard time shedding. he should be done by now but he cant seem to get it off. the only part of his body that started to shed was his lower jaw. there is plenty of rocks for him to rub up against and i even mist him but it doesnt seem to me coming off at all. is there any home remedy of some sort that will solve my problem? any help will be greatly appriaciated!!

i would soak him. also make sure the humidity is at 50-60% when out of shed and around 70% when in shed. Misting the cage will help to.

Hey,
With animals that are having difficult sheds, I like to simply put a damp terry-cloth bath towel into their cage, and leave it there for at least 12-24 hours. (Soak the towel in warm water, and ring out excess water). There is no science to this. Just around shed time, if you know your herps shed date plus or minus a day, you can just as a matter of fact put one in their with him/her, regardless of a bad shed or not. This will facilitate the whole shedding process and ease the shed off, while at the same time giving him/her something to rub on, and providing the extra moisture needed.

soak him in a bucket of water just high enough to cover the body for half an hour that always works for me and I usually soak my blood once a week for half an hour keeps them hydrated and have all of thier body mass
