Hello,
My beardie hasnt been himself lately. he wont eat his greens and wont eat too many insects, he has become extremely lazy, and isnt pooping regularly. I made him a vet appointment for monday at 2 pm to check him out, and i was planning on giving him some baths to help him poop before then. well, he pooped today on his own (of course) so i took it right after he made it, and wrapped it in wet paper towels, put it in a plastic bag, and stuck it in the fridge (i read somewhere thats what your supposed to do). but, will this be ok in the fridge until monday, or by then will it not be a reliable sample? Thanks for any responses.

I'd say you will get another one by then, Feed him good
but won't hurt saving that one in case you can't.

Yes, i am testing your poop IQ, lol...
so it WILL be ok until monday? because i honestly dont think i will get another sample from him by monday. he has been going up to 5 days without pooping, which is one of the reasons why i am taking him to the vet. i will definately feed him good, but the question is, will he eat.

NOt sure how long a poop sample lasts in the fridge. You could call your vet before Monday to ask, if he is open on weekends. Otherwise, jsut keep it in the fridge and if your dragon does poop again before 2pm monday, grab the fresher sample. Otherwise, go with the older one. Vet should still be able to check for parasites and all that.
