Bird vs reptile incubator.

Hi everyone

What is the difference between commercial bird incubators and reptile incubators? Would it be possible to use a bird incubator, any model available in the market, to hatch snake eggs?

Thanks for your help.

Check the thermostat mechanism. If it is a box then you will likely find that the system will not turn down cool enough for you and is basically geared to 100* period. IF it has a wafer then you can crank it down as far as you want and it should work for you. The wafer type looks like a couple discs held in a C clamp.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

Also note that some of the more expensive bird incubators have rollers that constantly turn the eggs. This will kill reptile eggs...
