Heating adult burm with heat tape??? I'd lik some output please?

Ok well i don't know too much about this hat tapoe ut it looks like a heap way to heat the cage? What is the wiring thing though....? Does that mean whenever you buy heat tape for reptiles you have to wire it? Also how does it work and how long does it last? Can anyone reccomend any other cheap ways to heat the large enclosures? thanks,

ps: i know im far from that but my burm is now 32" and in shed....on tuesday he will have his first frozen mouse i hope he eats it...my rat just had a small litter of 5...once they are 2 weeks old i will freeze them and start my urm on rat pups until 3' then hell go to 1 month weanling then to small rats at 3 1/2'...thanks for everything!

Heat tape can be easy of your skilled. It can also burn down your house if your not careful. If you can't positively ensure you understand how to install it, don't! I've had some for months but until I'm 100% sure of what I'm doing, I won't connect it. Check out the "Cage & Habitat" forum and read the threads.
