How much of an age or size difference can there be between two leos housed in a 20 gallon long tank? I have a regular male thats about 7.5inches long(not sure of his age). I was thinking of getting a female. Should Itry to get one the same size or could I get a baby?

i had this question about a month ago when i purchased a baby to go with my adult. a lot of people agreed that it was basically a bad idea. you are asking for problems with bites, fights, and/or attempts by males to mate with smaller females. (pedophelia in the gecko world was a new one to me as well.) anyway, try to keep them the same size.

Yeah, it's not a good idea to put a baby in with any older gecko.. Bigger Leopard Geckos will actually eat the babies! Plus, as it was stated before.. Fighting and such can happen. Over all it's a big mistake. If you decide to get a female, get one that is around his age/size and let her live in a quarentine tank for about 60-90 days before putting her in with the male. Good luck.
