I am a herp lover of all sorts (I keep everything from darts to RES and snakes as well) but I have never been to interested in gecko's. I guess the picture that my mind has of a gecko was the typical leopard gecko you see at the pet store.... not that there is anything wrong with them. I went to a Uniquie animal expo in my area and fell in love with crested geckos! I had some time to talk to a breeder and hold a couple and actually get a feel for their temperment. His were about 8 months old and were as friendly and curious as could be!

For the people that have and sucessfully keep Crested's I was hoping that maybe they had some pics to post, breeder reccomendations and then habitat set-ups as well. Pictures and dimentions of set-ups are greatly appreciated.

I keep adult pairs in tall sweaterbox sized rubbermaids. I replaced the solid top with a wood framed hardware cloth top. A ten gallon would be appropriate for one adult. Some good source of info are the geckos unlimited website and cestedgecko.com. -Derek
