Our Mexican Baird's Ratsnake...

phflame Oct 03, 2004 06:58 PM

Here is a pix of our new baby, Juan. It is not the best, as these babies are pretty darn squirmy and fast! He refused his meal last Thursday for some reason. He has only eaten one meal since we got him, and that was the previous week. I am going to try feeding him in a deli cup this week.

that is "jaun" nice little bairdi.
Can't wait to see how it changes as it matures.
You will have to keep us updated on a regular basis. I have been fortunate to see the changes in Texas bairdis but would love to see a Mexican bairdis progression.

The neat thing in watching the Mexican bairds change is to see their head loose all the markings and remain gray while the body turns orange or burnt orange in color. I have one in my collection on loan that is a yellowish/orange color that's real pretty.
