Kalypso didn't eat her crickets so I went and got wax worms. She ate those up fast.

I've noticed the past couple days she likes to walk through her calcium dish. Today I went to pick her up cause I hold her sometimes when I feed her and I noticed that the her eyelids seemed a little more black towards her eyes.

I don't know if this is normal or not like the area where it is is hard to explain. Ok say its a human eye lid, its on the bottom lid near the eye itself. The outside of the lid is normal color but I don't know if it changed color because it looks like she's going to shed soon or if it changed color because she's sick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

dont worry bout the color. the problem is the eating. i donno how meny wax worms you fed her, but to meny is bad. there too high in fat, and not high enough in the things the leo needs. they can get addicted, and then theres a big problem. try mealworms, silk worms, and more crickets.

She only gets 3-5 wax worms, but she only eats about 3 most of the time.

I'll go get some more mealie's today and try that. Maybe she'll eat those.

But she goes into these stages every once in awhile where she won't eat crickets for months at a time. Then she'll start eating them again.

I had this problem when I first got her in August of 2003. She wouldn't eat anything besides worms, then a couple of months went by and she started eating crix again so I don't think I'll worry.
