My female (assuming) columbian (about 3 1/2 ft) is not eating...she seems interested in food, but hasnt eaten in 3 weeks. Im not exactly worried, but it is a cause for concern. My male (again, assuming) ate 3 mice today, has been eating readily for the past weeks, eats almost every week! Along with not eating, they both refuse rats, and refuse F/T and fresh killed, even stunned prey! I have worked and worked with them, but i cant get them on F/T or F/K, Stunned or anything. Ive used tongs, scents, etc etc etc.

I normally do this with my baby corn Snakes but I recently used it on some Beautiful Guyana Boas that I just got in, they were Imported several months ago and the person I got them from was feeding the Rat pinks from time to time, because they were not a priority in his group they were a bit thin. I started them on large pinks for the first few days but had to tap them on the mouth to get them to realize it was food, they quickly worked up to weaned mice now and all but one takes the F/T right from the start, I still have one that has to be tapped once or twice to take it.

Allowing a week between feeding"attempts" usually helps.Trying to feed everday just wont work.Boas can fast for 16-18 weeks without recoarse,so what ever issue their dealing with give`em time in between feed attempts to resolve what ever issue it maybe.
