I need help with heating large snake enclosures someone pleae helpo me with ome examples?

Ok well i will be housing a 10 foot burm in a 8'x'30"x18" cage how can i heat it?
1. Cn someone explain heat tape to me and how long it lasts?
2.Human hating pads? sizes cost, longetivity?
3.Heat panels are too expensive in my opinion?
4.What are the largest eptile heat pads and how much are they and how long do they last?

The easiest way I know to go is with heat rope from Big Apple Herp. Use a router to make a groove in the floor of the cage and cover it with plexi-glass be sure and use a rheostat or plug in lamp dimmer(same thing). Total cost is under $30.
