I'm happy
I decided to put off getting the young hatchling till I'm situated and now I am.. He'll be kept in a container with approximately 5 square feet of floor space, for the first few days the substrate will likely be Newspaper until I can acquire whatever the breeder uses (I'll be touring the set ups to see everything)
I believe he mentioned Pellets or Hay.. I've seen on the forums that there are dust problems with the pellets.. and I already knew from experience how quickly they'll degrade so hopefully it won't be necessary.
He'll be exposed to atleast an hour of sunlight daily and as soon as I confirm that the next door yard has not been sprayed with pesticides lately, he'll be allowed to forage the entire time
This is going to be a great 3 years,
A quick question, I've researched the laws regarding their captivity in California, Utah, Arizona, and I believe one other state.. however, is it possible to attain a license in another state? Say.. Michigan? I understand keeping them in such a cold climate would be difficult, but when I leave.. it'll be hard to seperate when I move off to college, though I know others who will care for it, heh I get attached
