Has anyone used the ultratherm heatpads sold by the Bean Farm?

I do like them. I have not purchased one new in quite some time but assume they are unchanged.

I liked that they seemed the most sturdily built of all the under tank heaters.

I also like that they come in a variety of sizes.

I have heard that one of the major US distributors markets this exact pad under it's brand. Not sure which.

I guess the only dislike might be is that I've heard they don't get as hot as other pads. For me this is a 'like' as I prefer to provide just a bit of supplemental heat and not attempt to heat the air with pads.

They both look the same, and they're both advertised as originating in Scotland. And in my experience, they both heat at about the same temps.

I use these under all my cages. If A customer wants heat with their cage this is what I use. They are sealed realy well, not as thin as regular flexwatt. I also think the prices on these are more then fair. Thats my .02
