We have a 10 year old female Common Boa (supposedly) We've had her since she was 3, having taken her to multiple exhibits as of late, one idea came up many times, she was unusual for a common, slightly different pattern, redder tail than most commons, but nothing compared in coloration to say.. a Surinam
We're taking under consideration the idea she may indeed be a hybrid between B.C.Constrictor and B.C.Imperator
I've never done deep research on Boas, preferring to keep my research to the Candoian, Eryx, Lampropeltis, Crotalus, Naja
so forgive me if these answers are common knowledge.
1. First, is this hybrid even possible? In the Species what other hybrids are viable?
2. Is the hybrid Fertile? My mother has expressed a huge desire to breed our baby, for many years and we'll get the chance as soon as the male Common matures.
3. Are there any pics or descriptions available to identify her?
She may be a common after all, who knows.
Many thanks in advance, we're adopting off our Largest Burm so we'll be giantless for a while and we'll be focusing on her
