fcwegnm0 Jun 27, 2003 03:05 PM

i was bored yesterday and it was way too hot to skate so i cleaned up my room a little and got these pictures..

big tank on the left is my ball python.... top tank on the shelf is my leo.. tank under that are my rats(for the snake)... under that are my breeder mice and some feeders i got from them (also for the snake)...

that spot is new for my gecko.. before there had always been another shelf over her.. now that she can see alot more she spent all day yesterday just staring at the ceiling...

thanks for looking... dave

Mice and rats...that's the reason I could never get a snake. My mom hates them and wouldn't even allow me to buy bags of frozen ones. But my dad is another story (quite frankly, my mom is unwilling to allow my dad and I go to a reptile show unsupervised because she is afraid we'll come home with some monitor lizard or python ). Actually, if I did ever come home with a snake, my mom would rather buy the rodents then give the snake away!!! But a show is coming up in September and I am anxious to see the baby ball pythons and corn snakes!!!

I know what you mean. I really wanted a corn snake before, but my parents wont even let me have a pinky in the house let alone adult mice and that, so I got my gecko and I'm glad i did. At the next show in my city I might be getting a Crested Gecko since they can be brought up on mostly fruit and baby food.

I just have to find a good sized reptile that fits into a 20 gallon long tank (and doesn't climb walls!!!).

if you want a good sized rep that can fit in a 20l, you should consider a baby blue-tongued skink. though, you wold need a bigger cage when it gets older.
