Incubate the eggs at room temp, 72 to 80 degrees. Cooler temps will give you a higher probability for females.
Actually I have not seen any sure sex determination in incub. temps. I have tried to induce high female rates at lower temps and have not seen much in the way that would make me say they are temp dependant on male/female hatch odds. I did this with 10 (130 eggs) clutches of eggs last year and 14 (176 eggs)this year, half and half at 72 and 81 degrees. The average difference was 5.8 females per 10 eggs to 5.3 females per 10 eggs, nothing conclusive.
As far as best way to incubate. I use Hoffman fine grade vermiculite as a laying site and sometimes leave them in that container and just put in the incubator. If I take them out of that I will put them in perlite but almost always use the fine grade vermic. As long as you dont keep your house really cold (under 60) I would put them on a shelf upstairs (heat rises) I dont put holes in the container, (plastic ziplock for sandwiches). I mix the vermic with water, close it up and just open the container 2-3 times a week to let fresh air in. Eggs dont need air like an animal does so its cool and plus... with no holes, water doesnt evaporate and no hasseling with how much water to add back. At 72 degrees eggs should take close to 72-74 days to hatch, at 78 I get 62 days like clockwork.
