Build your own, or use the hovabator. Hovabators can work fine, but are a bit problematic in some applications. If you are going to use a hovabator, you need to get the expansion kit to make it taller, and keep the eggs sealed in an "egg box". I have built a fantastic incubator out of a very large cooler. IT holds the temps absolutely stable and can incubate as many as 4 to 6 clutches at a time. My incubator cost me about $160 bucks to build, and that includes a $100 thermostat. I've hatched several clutches of carpet and ball eggs, with pretty close to 100% hatch rate. E-mail me if you want and I can send you some directions for building one.

Where can i get an expansion kit for hovabators,,,lll reptile supply doesnt have one.
Do a search on Google for "Hova-Bator Expansion Ring". It seems it only works on a few models, though.

Now,,the turbofan model or the radiant heated incubator,,i guess the fan one would be ok huh?
not the fan model, people think that dries the eggs out. I got my expansion rings from LLLreptile which is where I also bought the hovabator. They changed their site and I think it is harder to find products such as the expansion ring, since they took out the search option. If you don't see it, call them and ask them about it.
