HELP!! Baby rosy cannot escape eggsack !

cypherpunks Oct 04, 2004 10:27 AM

For some reason, I've got a little baby rosy boa that has been trashing around in it's little sac and cannot seem to break open.

It was pretty active and is now kind of limp but has a little struggle left in it.

I pulled the sac off from it's head to hopefully allow it to breathe.

Should it be placed on moist paper towels or very dry ones?

aaaaagh!

What do I do!!!

I don't know if this is common or not.

But apparently, it had just been born and was probably collecting its energy before trying to break out. I intervened and opened it from the sac and it looked like hell for a while. I decided to place a wet paper towel on top of it and leave it alone for a while. After about an hour, it was moving around just fine and today is in good shape.

I think I was just overreacting.

Thanks for the reply.
