I have a jayapura that's about a year old....growing like a weed, but no sign of any color change...do jayapuras usually undergo their color change early or late...any comments are appreciated.
thanks,
gabriel

CHONDROS! lol. That's what's so fun about keeping them. You never know what they're going to do. My first Sarong type was about a year old when I got him. A beautiful yellow yearling at about 30" long with a nice brown stripe. Within two weeks he's was green with a blue stripe. The funny thing about his change was, it only took 2 days. I've heard of color change taking as little as 1 day and as long as 5 years in some Biaks. Just be patient and wait for Christmas.....because sometimes that's what it seems like.
