Look what I saw walking through the forest yesterday! Glad I caught these shots. Do you think it might be venomous?

Just kidding. I took them at the Brookfield Zoo on Saturday. It's nice to be able to view such an amazing creature from safely behind plexiglass. They eyelash viper is my favorite of all snakes. Too bad I'll never have one as a pet. Maybe I could glue fake eyelashes on my corn snake?

I believe that is an Eyelash Viper... which is quite venomous. They come in a variety of stunning colors, including yellow, red, and green.

Nice pics too! Just don't get too close

That's cute. . . eyelashes on a corn snake! But seriously - I DO have a corn snake that I found in the wild (last week) that has a lot of yellow on it and NO red! Will try to post a pic of it tomorrow.

well you know how the white on most snakes is somewhat translucent...my licorice stick with the white over her eyes makes it look like shes wearing blue eye shadow...according to my girlfriend. lol.
