Shedding Problems

snakesta44 Oct 04, 2004 06:59 PM

My baby brooksi's last few sheds haven't come off smothly or in one peice, and took a couple of days. What should I do to help her shed this time around. I've tried puting a moist paper towel in her cage to increse moister, but it hasn't seemed to have helped. She doesn't have any trouble getting her eyecaps off.

Try buying a product called Bio-Mist. I believe it is made by T-Rex co. But I am not positive. Just spary the little one each day when you see the skin become milky, I did this with my king, and she has no problems with shedding. It is made with aloe vera, jojoba extracts and all kinds of great stuff to aid in moisterizing and helps with dry patches and whatnot. It can be found in almost any pet strore (Petsmart, Petco, etc.) Hope this helps! Also if you don't want to buy it, soak 'em in a shallow tub of luke warm water. This will help hydrate.
