lighting

hi... i have a 6 foot power compact light i used on a fish tank and i was wondering if it will work fine for a frilled.. for just normal lighting

and the basking light... do u just set it ontop of the cage/tank

im new to reptile keeping

You can use your 6' light for extra heat, but you'll also need a good source of UV. Frilleds need a taller cage (approx. 4'), so to fit the 6' bulb, you'd probably need a 6' x 4' x 2' cage.
