PMHerps Paul.....I have a couple of questions about those Barrs.

Sunshine Oct 04, 2004 07:49 PM

Paul,
I thought I'd go with Moonstruck, but they seem to be hiding. You indicated you are using flexwatt on a helix, and I was wondering about that. Do you have the tape setup so that each cage has it's own piece? Or is it sandwhiched vertically in between the 2 stacks? It looks to me that there is a lip on each of the corners and front to create a shallow resting spot for the flexwatt between the top and bottem of the cages. One helix for 10 cages?

Thanks,
Linda

I use 1 11" panel for each cage.. I tape the flexwatt to the floor
outside of the cage... all wired into a single helix basic system.. no where near the max output a helix can handle...
the cages are built with a 1/2 " gap between them.. plenty of airflow to keep the flexwatt from over heating.. the cages, when stacked even lock into each other, so they don't move around..
I currently have 19 of his 3ft cages and will be getting more...
I'm also a distributor of his rack systems, so I know the product line fairly well... tell him I sent ya...

thanks Paul

I think I'll go with BARRS. They got really good feedback from you and others on the "other" forum. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my questions. I'll tell 'em you sent me and I sent a hog person to you (I guess you already know that). I still would like a couple myself, but better get the brb's in better cages first.

Thanks again,
Linda
