i was wondering if it would be okay to use cypress for bedding? i have a vision cage which i use for nights and move the iguana out during the day. safety from animals. could i use cypress in the vision?

anything particulate (in small pieces) is the possibility of an impaction hazard and should not be used...its very costly to have an operation to get rid of an impaction...newspaper or linoleum are the substrates of choice...Lyn
