I like Jackson's and I was wondering if they were good for beginners.
ummmm...i say yes but a veiled is probably the best beginner cham...more tolerant of, i don't wanna say mistakes, but....
a jax needs cooler temps. which may be harder or easier for you to achieve depending upon where you live...they need higher humindity so the same thing applies.
the problem or chanllenge i've had with my jax is trying to keep him from getting bored with food...many different food have to be offered to keep him interested...you may have this problem too so it's something you want to plan for

I don't tend to think jax are great beginner chams. They are more sensitive to high temps and dehydration, and getting the balance between a properly humid cage and a too wet moldy one takes practice. They are a little more prone to abscesses and infections too. Depending on what herp experiences you already have (keeping high humidity cool climate herps), your house climate and temp range during the year, how much time you can spend spraying and maintaining a more complicated setup, a veiled may be easier to handle.
