What is the best way to heat snakes stored in plastic shoe boxes without melting the plastic? The temperature in the room where I keep my snakes is great. But I'm just wondering an alternative way to supply heat for the little ones in the show boxes. Any feedback would be great!

Use a light dimmer on the heating strip.
