Best place in jersey to spot timbers?

I know it's pretty late in the year, not to mention their numbers aren't very good any more, but I was just wondering. I've yet to find one in the wild.

I know I replied to the same message in another forum, perhaps you were the one who asked: please don't ask anyone here to divulge the location of an endangered NJ species. I too would LOVE to find one in the wild but not all who come here are as conservation minded and respectful of wildlife as you and I. Most of all, good luck and happy herping!!

That's a good point. I never thought of that. I don't really think it would make a difference but it is still a good point none the less. I'll find one next year on my own.

Good luck man. I know I'll be out there looking as well!

-In fact, on my last trip out this summer I went to a spot that seemed perfect. Turned out I was in the middle of a mountain bike course so I took off without a sighting. I read up on the race afterwards and a racer spotted a "huge" rattlesnake in the middle of the trail pretty close to where I was looking. Oh well, next year.
